Tip of the Week

Community Resources related to COVID-19

Information and Resources for the Vanderbilt Community

The university continues to update the community via email announcements and Vanderbilt’s COVID-19 website.

Please note the below topics related to transactions in Oracle Cloud.

Equipment and Supplies

The Purchasing & Payment Services team has compiled a list of contracted supplier items such as masks, gloves and hand sanitizer and grouped them into an easy-to-browse list on the aquiire landing page.  A link to the full list is also available here.

Thus, the recommended best practice is to navigate to the supplier punch out in order to verify availability and lead time, as adding the items directly to the cart will not display these important details.

2020 User Group Meetings

All user group meetings for the remainder of the spring and summer will be hosted via Zoom.

Details for each meeting are posted on the VU Shared Administrative Calendar – please subscribe to the calendar to add these to your calendar.

Finance and HCM Users

Next meeting: Thursday, June 11 @ 2:35-3:50p

Recordings of the combined Approver, FUM and HCM Specialist user group meetings are available in Oracle Cloud Continuing Education: Financials and Core HR course in Oracle Learning.

Procure-to-Pay Users

Next meeting: Friday, May 29 @ 9-9:30a

Recordings are being made available in the Learning Community for Oracle Procurement Users.  All Oracle Procurement users are encouraged to join the online community and participate in the user group meetings.
