Commodore Open-Source Ventilator

Wond’ry Director of Making Kevin Galloway and Prof. Bob Webster in Vanderbilt’s Department of Mechanical Engineering have been spearheading the creation of a low-cost DIY emergency ventilator. Using common materials like plywood, pool noodles, drawer slides, and a windshield wiper motor, the Commodore Open-source Ventilator (COV) can be easily assembled using tools available most everywhere. Instructions for making the device are available at VandyVents.com.
