Public History and local archaeology: Fort Negley

This working group will explore digital tools and platforms for community engagement and outreach, focusing on the history and archaeology of Fort Negley, a Civil War Heritage site built by hundreds of free and self-emancipated African Americans, which is now at the center of a downtown development controversy.
