Nicholas S. Zeppos was named Vanderbilt University's eighth chancellor on March 1, 2008, after serving as a member of the faculty and in many leadership roles since first joining the Vanderbilt community as assistant professor of law in 1987. In his first 10 years as chancellor, he has lead the university forward as a top academic research university committed to delivering a world-class education to all qualified students.
