Decorating Lanterns for Prevention Procession
Project Safe’s annual Prevention Procession & Survivor Speak Out will be held on April 11. We are in need of offices and organizations to decorate lanterns for these events. Project Safe will provide the lanterns and decorating materials. Make this part of your next staff meeting and show your support for survivors!

This presentation examines the ways in which language reflects and sometimes perpetuates violence in our culture. By exploring common vernacular, phrases, slang terms, etc. participants will learn how insidious our language can be, and how to more carefully examine the way culture describes and speaks about intimacy, women, and sexual violence.
