Jeremy Bourgoin has joined the Office of Student Accountability, Community Standards, and Academic Integrity as Assistant Director. Jeremy will investigate and hear cases involving alleged violations of University policy and will also advise the Undergraduate Honor Council. Jeremy comes most recently from the University of Miami where he spent four years in Housing and Residential Life and oversaw half of the first-year student population in a residential college model with live-in faculty. Additionally, he served in the Dean of Students Office at UM advising the University’s disciplinary hearing panels and overseeing the student conduct unit at Miami Hurricanes football and basketball games to ensure a safe game-day experience. Jeremy earned UM’s highest divisional honor for job performance and holds national and regional appointments for both NASPA and SEAHO.

Jeremy received his bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He went on to get his master’s in higher education administration here at Vanderbilt’s Peabody College and served as a Head Resident in the Commons, the Graduate Assistant to the Dean of the Ingram Commons, and the Assistant Adviser to VUcept. Jeremy loves all things Vanderbilt and the Commodores and is happy to once again call Vanderbilt home!
