Vanderbilt Weekend of Service: Host a Project & Help OACS Spread the Word
OACS is currently recruiting projects for the upcoming Weekend of Service, Sept. 13 – 15th. Service projects of all shapes and sizes will take place over that Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to collectively light up the city with action toward the common good. DOS staff and/or departments are invited to lead projects to share in the spirit, and we would also appreciate your help enlisting student participation. Projects should be in by August 28th, at which point we’ll begin official recruitment for project participants. REGISTER A PROJECT HERE.
If you need assistance planning, we are happy to help you to identify service projects — we have a list of potential partners and contacts.
OACS is also hosting the annual Service Leaders Conference for all student service leaders on August 19th, followed by the annual OACS Service Fair on August 20th from 4-6pm on the Commons. We are curious what will come from asking the question, “What will you do to make a difference this year?”
