Qianhui Zheng is a rising senior majoring in computer science and biochemistry. She has been working in the Rokas lab since her freshman summer. She is interested in bioinformatics and hopes to develop methods and software tools to understand biological data. Her research focuses on analyzing mutational biases and potentially evolutionary patterns using computational tools. This is her second time participating in DSI-SRP. She will use this opportunity to complete her project and prepare for her honors thesis. In her free time, she enjoys Pokemon games and road trips.
