Sketch Noting with Megan Kelly
On Monday, September 11, the Curb Center hosted Megan Kelley, a visual notetaker. She led the group in exercises to write other people’s stories, document fonts and icons, and practice capturing words in creative ways. At the end of the session, everyone was given a few index cards to write/draw various takeaways, which included everything from arrows to speech bubbles to countless handwritten fonts. Then all the Curb Scholars traded cards to give them new perspectives on how to do sketch notes. Next week we’ll be putting this into practice by doing sketch notes during an interview with Megan Kelley. Stay tuned!
