John Shakespear Drkmttr Show

Posted by on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 in Creative Campus Blog, Uncategorized.

Curb Creative Writing Fellow John Shakespear moonlights as a musician, and regularly performs in and around Nashville with his band – guitar, violin, cello, and keys. Last year, he collaborated on his debut album with producer/mixer Devon Dawson (Local Natives) and mixer Greg Giorgio (The National, Sharon Van Etten) and went on a month-long East Coast tour.

Tonight, February 19, he is playing an all-ages show at Drkmttr Collective on Dickerson Pike with Bea Troxel—a local folk luminary who has graced every stage in town from the Bluebird Café to the Musicians Corner festival—and Chicago touring act Minor Moon.

Doors open at 7, and the show is at 8. If you can’t make the show, you can always check out John’s music online, or ask him about it in the halls of Curb!
