Faculty Advisory Committee

The Faculty Advisory Committee serves to enhance the effectiveness of CTTC by providing the faculty voices that are integral to the continuous innovation and improvement within technology transfer and commercialization activities.

 

Purpose

The Faculty Advisory Committee:

  • Identifies challenges and collaborates on solutions to enhance CTTC processes and services

  • Reviews and provides feedback on CTTC's proposed technology transfer and commercialization initiatives

  • Contributes to the development and refinement of intellectual property (IP) policies

  • Communicates to their departments and schools about ongoing activities across the campus innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem

Faculty Input

The Faculty Advisory Committee welcomes input from the VU/VUMC research community. To suggest a topic, raise a concern, or share an idea for the Committee's consideration, please submit it using the link below. Suggestions are reviewed ahead of each Committee meeting and may help inform future discussions and initiatives.

Members

The committee consists of representatives from VU and VUMC, with a range of experience in technology transfer and commercialization activities to ensure comprehensive input and multiple perspectives. Committee members serve for a two-year term, with a potential option to renew for one additional year.
