Lorrie Moore publishes new book of nonfiction
Gertrude Conaway Vanderbilt Professor of English Lorrie Moore, the author of three novels and four collections of short stories, published a new collection of essays and reviews coming on April 3, from Penguin Random House. The collection, See What Can Be Done, is Moore’s first book of nonfiction.
Moore has received several honors for her work, among them the Irish Times International Prize for Literature, a Lannan Foundation fellowship, as well as the PEN/Malamud Award and the Rea Award for her achievement in the short story. She is currently in residence at the New York Public Library as a 2017 Cullman fellow, and will return to Nashville in September to resume teaching at Vanderbilt.
