Travel Guidelines and Study Abroad

Posted by on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 in .

University-sponsored domestic and international travel is permitted consistent with CDC guidelines.  In alignment with CDC guidelines , all individuals arriving in the United States following international travel and unvaccinated individuals arriving from domestic travel should mask, physically distance, and only do essential activities for 7 days after travel, and take a COVID-19 test within 3-5 days of arriving regardless of whether they are fully vaccinated or not.  All individuals returning from travel are encouraged to visit the asymptomatic testing center on campus to take a COVID-19 test 3-5 days after their arrival, or may test at a location convenient to them off campus.

Vanderbilt will continue to assess study abroad programming.  More information can be found here.
