 2020 CampVandy

CampVandy, the Rec’s Summer day camp includes active and recreational programming for campers ages 5-12. At CampVandy campers will learn new skills and stay fit. Campers climb the rock wall, swim in the pool, play field games, participate in fitness classes, make arts and crafts, and much more!

Camp Day 2020: Monday – Friday (9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)

*$225/week Early Bird rate from February 10 – April 14

*$275/week after April 14

Before Care: Monday – Friday (7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.) *$50/week

After Care: Monday – Friday (4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.) *$50/week

Swim School Transfer: Monday - Thursday (4:30 p.m. - 5:20 p.m.) *$90/week

Group lessons for beginner swimmers only, swimmers return to After Care from 5:30 - 6 p.m. (Intermediate lessons may be added once our swim instructor staff is confirmed for summer 2020).

Please note: Participants who register for swim transfers should not purchase After Care as it is included in the lesson cost. Lessons are held Monday - Thursday, with Fridays designated as make-up days in case of inclement weather.

Theme Weeks 2020:

June 1 - 5 Commodore Classic 
Join us for CampVandy’s summer kick off week! Commodore Classic is filled with Field Day fun, Pep Rally, Tennessee state pride activities, Vanderbilt special guests and much more!

June 8 - 12 Planet Earth 
Lions, tigers and bears, Oh My! The Nashville Zoo will visit us during this fun filled Planet Earth week. Campers will make animal masks, build their own terrarium, and participate in a mammal egg hunt.

June 15 - 19 Challenge Week
Challenge week will take your camper to new heights with crate stacking and week full of crazy challenge games! Campers will create a team tribe, compete for prizes and race to complete a CampVandy scavenger hunt!

June 22 - 26 Magic Week
Enter the magical world of CampVandy as we introduce this new week to the mix! Campers will create their own group “houses”, compete for the house cup, dual in a wizard tournament and create their own wands and potions. We will also be visited by the Nashville Zoo and their fantastic beasts!

July 6 - 10 Shipwrecked Week
Ahoy, Matey! Join us for one of the hottest weeks of summer for inner tube water polo, boat races, a treasure hunt and a water field day! You’ll also get a chance to sink pirate ships in canoe battleship!

July 13 - 17 Game Show Week
Get Ready, Get set, Go! Join us for Family Feud, American Ninja warrior inflatables, Nailed It!, Trivia and many more of your favorite game shows CampVandy style!

July 20 - 24 Space & Science Week 
To infinity and beyond! Experiment with egg drops, crate stacking, watermelon relays, space gak, creating constellations and participating in a camp-wide Space Jam. It’s going to be a blast!

July 27 - 31 2020 Olympics Week
Join us to celebrate the opening week of the 2020 Summer Olympics! Campers will create their own country to represent, participate in an opening and closing ceremonies/parades, create their own Olympic torch and medal, compete in canoe battleship and participate in a variety of CampVandy Olympic Sports!

 2020 Vanderbilt Baseball Summer Camp

Vanderbilt University provides some of the finest youth and high school baseball camps in the country. Whether you are a young beginner just learning the game, a middle school player ready to take your game up a notch, or a high school player with aspirations of playing at the next level, Vanderbilt baseball has a camp to suit your needs.

Coach Corbin and his staff are present for all camps and take great pride in the quality of instruction, providing a 1-to-8 coach to camper ratio. All camps and clinics are high energy with great attention to detail and safety. This is a baseball opportunity that we feel confident will exceed your expectations. We look forward to seeing you on our campus!

High School Camp Waitlist:
When camp has reached its full capacity, a waitlist will begin to form for entry into camp. There is no cost associated with the waitlist. Once a player has been transferred into camp they will be asked to pay their camp balance within seven days to secure their spot. As registrants cancel from camp, the waitlist will automatically pull the next registrant in line based on their sign up date. This waitlist will continue up until the week of camp.

2020 Vanderbilt Golf Camp

Vanderbilt Golf Camp is designed to accomplish two things…to have fun and become better golfers! Campers will receive instruction from the Vanderbilt men’s and women’s golf coaches on basic golf fundamentals, skill and technique, course management, rules, and etiquette. Campers will have the opportunity to apply what they learn at camp as they compete against each other in team competitions and in one-on-one competitive golf situations.

Location: Vanderbilt Legends Golf Club, Franklin, Tenn.
Age: 10-17 years
Cost: $850 Commuters (ages 10-17), $995 Overnight Campers

*Overnight campers must be 13 on the first day camp starts.
*10-17 years for commuters. If you aren’t entering the 13, you must commute or stay in a hotel with a guardian.

For boys and girls, ages 10-17, of all skill levels. The price includes meals, housing, golf activities, and a camp amenity package. Each student is evaluated at the beginning of camp to ensure that the juniors of similar ability are grouped for instruction geared to their needs with student/Instructor ratio of no more than 6:1. Morning instruction rotates stations for putting, chipping, pitching, bunkers, full swing, games, and competition. The afternoon session is on-course play with coaches to work on shot selection and course management. At the conclusion of each day, campers will enjoy guest speakers, seminars, a tour of Vanderbilt University’s campus, movies, field games, and night golf. Full time coaches and counselors will be available to ensure the safety of the campers at the golf course and in the hotel.

  2020 Lacrosse Camp

This camp is geared towards all Lacrosse skill range ages 12 -18. It will focus on skills, position play and team concepts with an overall intense level of competition. This camp is open to any and all entrants. (Limited only by number, age, grade, level and/or gender.)

The Vanderbilt Lacrosse Elite Camp offers a premier experience for players to take their game to the next level. Summer Elite Camp is held on the beautiful campus of Vanderbilt University in the heart of Nashville, TN.  Summer Elite Camp is open to players age 12-18. Campers must be 13 years old by the first day of camp to stay overnight. Vanderbilt Lacrosse Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.

2020 Vanderbilt Men's Basketball Camps

The Vanderbilt high school shootout has a 3 game guarantee and is open to High school teams grades 9th-12th. Games will be played in Memorial Gym and its practice facility. There will be a large varsity, small varsity, and jv division. Check-in will be Friday June 5th at 9:00am. The Junior Day Camp is the perfect experience for the beginning basketball player – a youth camp introducing basic basketball fundamentals and concepts through drills, competitions, and controlled game play. Campers will be coached by members of the Vanderbilt coaching staff and available players on the basketball team. Lunch will not be served, but a snack will be provided. Check-in will be Monday, June 8th, from 8-:00-9:00 a.m. at Memorial Gym. Camp will begin each day at 9:00 a.m., with doors opening at 8:30 a.m. Camp concludes each day at 12:00 p.m. Camp open to all genders.  2020 Vanderbilt Soccer Camps

Vanderbilt Soccer Youth Summer Day Camps are designed for players of all levels who want to learn and improve their fundamental soccer skills in a fun and encouraging environment.  Players are given the unique opportunity to receive individual instruction from Vanderbilt Soccer's coaching staff and players.  Each day is filled with a variety of activities to promote correct soccer technique including: small-sided games to encourage personal involvement and enhance the understanding of team concepts; technical and ball mastery skills sessions; shooting drills; group pool time and much

The camp provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a competitive environment while receiving a high level of soccer training from the Vanderbilt Women's Soccer coaching staff. The training schedule is designed to prepare players to compete at the college level. The curriculum includes individual instruction and full field 11 vs. 11 matches for a full personal evaluation. Housing and food are not provided for this camp.

This camp is open to rising 6th-12th grade boys and girls of all skill levels. Our striker / goalkeeper camp will allow players to improve their technical skills and tactical awareness in front of goal. Players will engage in a competitive yet fun training environment with a high level of coaching.

2020 Women's Basketball Camps

All camps and instruction are led by third-year Head Coach Stephanie White and her experienced staff including Kelly Komara, Shereka Wright, and Gary Redus. Members of the Vanderbilt Women’s Basketball team will serve as camp counselors as well.

Team camp will provide the opportunity for AAU and high school teams to prepare for the upcoming summer and school seasons. Games will take place in historic Memorial Gymnasium and practice facilities. Each team will compete in 2 games per day and a guaranteed 4 games.

  2020 USN Summer Camps

Welcome to USN Summer Camps. We strive to provide families with the most dynamic and varied summer programming options for students K-12. Our camps are open to the general public and run for 6 weeks, starting June 1 and ending July 10.

Each camp session lasts for 1 week. We offer half-day programs and a few full day programs. Morning sessions run from 8:00am - 11:30am. Afternoon sessions are held from 12:30pm - 4:00pm. A supervised lunch runs from 11:30am - 12:30pm for campers staying for both morning and afternoon sessions. A cafeteria lunch can be purchased for $32.50 per week. In addition, we provide aftercare from 4:00 - 5:00 for $50.00 a week.
