The Vanderbilt Speakers Bureau is a service that matches Vanderbilt experts with community groups in need of a speaker for meetings, conferences, classes, retreats, and other events.
Vanderbilt Speakers Bureau participants are leaders in their respective fields who are eager to share their knowledge and experience with civic and service organizations, professional and business organizations, corporations, as well as, public and government entities.
Full-time faculty members from ten schools are available to speak on a variety of topics ranging from art to human rights or from adoptive parenting to science research. Vanderbilt coaches and Athletics' staff are also available for community speaking engagements.
Scheduling a Speaker from Vanderbilt
To request a speaker:
Please download a Speaker Request Form. As you complete the request form, please provide as much information as possible to assist us in providing a speaker well-suited to your organization. It is also helpful if you can provide 2-3 open dates. You may submit the form by e-mail, mail or fax.
Next, return the Speaker Request Form to our office at least 3 to 4 weeks in advance of the program to give us sufficient time to schedule and confirm a speaker. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to fill your request if not given adequate notice.
The Speakers Bureau Coordinator will take care of contacting potential speakers and follow-up with you as soon as possible.
