How to Use this Site

You can use this site to determine the proper use of the Vanderbilt signatures, which combines the V symbol and a school or unit wordmark, or to locate a specific logo file (including high resolution) to download. You must have a VUnet ID to perform file downloads.

Select a page under "Downloads" to display the signatures (logos) available.

You may find it helpful to bookmark the page you use most often, create a folder to store signatures that you use most often, or even print out pages for quick reference.

Each signature has been provided in two formats, which you can download from this site:

EPS for professional design, web, and publishing applications.

TIFF for use in other desktop applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint.

Click on the filenames shown next to the signatures to download the corresponding file.

The ® designation is used with the official logo/wordmarks on promotional products such as t-shirts, hats, coffee mugs, and pens. As a federal trademark owner, it is our responsibility to include ® on merchandise. It is not necessary to include the ® with our trademarks on printed pieces such as flyers, brochures, and even websites as long as a disclaimer is added somewhere on the item that states “Vanderbilt University trademarks are federally registered marks of the university.” Logos with the ® designation can be downloaded from the downloads link.
