Trademark Licensing

Marketing Solutions' office of Trademark Licensing has official oversight of all institution trademarks. The office acts as liaison to the General Counsel's office as well as outside counsel to protect and control the use of Vanderbilt's name and marks, including the official gold color. TL works with licensees to produce merchandise with Vanderbilt logos, to collect royalty revenue for the institution, and promote designs that are consistent with the goals and image of the university. We handle inquiries every day about usage of Vanderbilt logos, name, and marks, and we are happy to assist with your unique needs.
