University Stationery

Stationary ExamplesOfficial Vanderbilt stationery is available only from Vanderbilt Printing Services. Stationery templates have been designed to meet the correspondence needs of the Vanderbilt community, and there are templates for notepads, note cards, mailing labels and other items that are frequently requested.

An important part of the visual identity for the university, stationery is printed on custom-manufactured paper featuring the logo as a watermark. Vanderbilt's official gold metallic ink is used along with black to create the distinctive line of stationery items that strengthens our brand. Please note that desktop interpretations of the stationery are prohibited.

The official VU letterhead may not be modified or added to in any way. If departments and schools wish to add additional branding for a program or center, they may do so in the following ways:

  1. The school logo should be used alone, at the top, and centered.
  2. The program or center can:
    1. have their program/center name typeset at the top and in accordance with our guidelines, or
    2. the program or center’s logo/wordmark be used in the bottom left corner. This logo cannot be larger than the Vanderbilt logo at the top.
  3. Any contact or address information should be in the bottom right corner.
