Commencement Accommodations Form

Please note: The wheelchair reservation portion of this form has now closed May 2021 ceremonies. A limited number of wheelchairs will be available without prior reservation on commencement day. No guarantee.

reserved Wheelchair Pick-up and Return

A limited number of wheelchairs will be available for loan by prior reservation. Wheelchairs can be reserved for the Saturday and Sunday of Commencement. A valid driver’s license is required as collateral for borrowing a wheelchair; the ID will be returned when the wheelchair is turned in. An area within the seating section of all ceremonies will be reserved for wheelchair users. Only one guest is permitted to sit with the user due to limited space. If you request the use of a wheelchair, please know that you are responsible for returning the equipment to the designated location; otherwise, a $500 replacement cost will be levied.

Disability parking permits are not issued for this event. Those with state-issued placards or tags may park in any accessible parking spot not marked reserved.

Accessible parking for the ceremonies is available in the 25th Avenue Garage. Other lots available for parking during the weekend include:

  • West Garage
  • Lot 71 (accessible parking)
  • Wesley Garage
  • Terrace Place garage

Parking options for graduate and professional student ceremonies include:

  • Lot 77, 79, 81, 84, 90 and 95 (non-reserved spaces only)

Both Class of 2020 and Class of 2021 Commencement ceremonies will provide a Mobility Ride service to assist guests who need assistance getting to/from ceremonies.

Upon arrival, guests can call (615) 322-2745 and a representative will provide mobility service via golf cart to transport guests to their specific ceremony.

  • Only two guests per golf cart.
  • Masks must be worn at all times.
  • Each golf cart will be disinfected after each ride.
