CampVandy promotes experiential learning through active programming for campers ages 5-13. The Rec’s Summer Day Camp, is an opportunity for campers to learn lifelong skills and stay fit. Campers climb the rock wall, swim in the pool, play field games, go bowling, participate in fitness classes, build arts and crafts and much more!

Camp sessions are Monday through Friday.

Camp Day: (9am-4:30pm)
$200/week for Vanderbilt University Employees and Rec members
$250/week for Non-Members (monthly memberships available)

Before Care: (7:30am-9am)
$10/day; $50/week

After Care: (4:30pm-6pm)
$10/day; $50/week

Swim School Transfers: (4:30pm-5:30pm group lesson for beginners ONLY, return to After Care from 5:30pm-6pm)
$90/week (M-Th; Fri is a makeup day)

 Vanderbilt Baseball Summer Camps

Vanderbilt University provides some of the finest youth and high school baseball camps in the country. Whether you are a young beginner just learning the game, a middle school player ready to take your game up a notch, or a high school player with aspirations of playing at the next level, Vanderbilt baseball has a camp to suit your needs.

Coach Corbin and his staff are present for all camps and take great pride in the quality of instruction, providing a 1 to 8 coach to camper ratio. All camps and clinics are high energy with great attention to detail and safety. This is a baseball opportunity that we feel confident will exceed your expectations. We look forward to seeing you on our campus!

DAY CAMP 
2017-2018 1st-8th Graders
Tuesday, June 27th to June 30th 

DESCRIPTION: The goal of the Vanderbilt Day Camp for the younger players (grades 1-6) is to teach baseball fundamentals in a fun and energetic atmosphere. All players play an active role in camp and are continually involved in drills of all aspects.

COST: $275 per camper, per session 

TIMES: Camp will begin promptly at 9 a.m. each day - campers should plan to be at the stadium between 8:30 and 8:45 a.m. Camp will conclude at 12 noon each day. You will be required to sign your child out with his coach at the end of each day. Sign out will take place in the outfield of Hawkins Field. 


HIGH SCHOOL PROSPECT CAMP 
2017-2018 9th-12th Graders
Sunday, July 9 to Thursday, July 13 

DESCRIPTION: The Prospect Camp offers a unique baseball learning opportunity for the high school player who has aspirations of playing baseball at the highest level (college or Pro).

COST: $490 for commuters and $590 for overnighters

2017 Vanderbilt Golf Camp

Vanderbilt Golf Camp is designed to accomplish two things...to have fun and become better golfers! Campers will receive instruction from the Vanderbilt men's and women's golf coaches on basic golf fundamentals, skill and technique, course management, rules, and etiquette. Campers will have the opportunity to apply what they learn at camp as they compete against each other in team competitions and in one-on-one competitive golf situations.

Age:  10-17 years 
*Overnight campers must be entering the 8th grade  
*10-17years for commuters. If you aren't entering the 8th grade, you must commute or stay in a hotel with a guardian.  

Cost:  $850 Commuters (ages 10-17), $950 Overnight Campers 

Description:  For boys and girls, ages 10-17, of all skill levels. The price includes meals, housing, golf activities, and a camp amenity package. Each student is evaluated at the beginning of camp to ensure that the juniors of similar ability are grouped for instruction geared to their needs with student/Instructor ratio of no more than 6:1. Morning instruction rotates stations for putting, chipping, pitching, bunkers, full swing, games, and competition. The afternoon session is on-course play with coaches to work on shot selection and course management. At the conclusion of each day, campers will enjoy guest speakers, seminars, a tour of Vanderbilt University's campus, movies, field games, and night golf. Full time coaches and counselors will be available to ensure the safety of the campers at the golf course and in the hotel. 

Note:  Walk-up registration is permitted on the day of camp. You will be charged a $50 on top of the camp fee.

Camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender)  

Cancellation Policy:  If camp enrollment needs to be cancelled, Vanderbilt University will retain $100 of your registration (including any fees associated with online registration). The remaining amount of the registration will be refunded to you in the same method used at registration.

Once a camp begins, money will not be refunded unless extenuating circumstances are approved by the Vanderbilt Athletics Department Administration.

Description: 
The Vanderbilt Lacrosse Elite Camp offers a premier experience for players to take their game to the next level. Summer Elite Camp is held on the beautiful campus of Vanderbilt University in the heart of Nashville, TN. The camp is lead by veteran coach Cathy Swezey in her 21st season at the helm of Vanderbilt’s program. Associate Head Coach and former All-American, Beth Hewitt along with Goalie Specialist Ford Martin provide high level instruction in a fast paced and fun camp setting. Vanderbilt Lacrosse Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.

2017 Vanderbilt Men's Basketball Camps

Junior Day Camp   June 13-16

The Junior Day Camp is the perfect experience for the beginning basketball player. It is designed to teach young players the basic fundamentals in a FUN environment. Campers will be coached by members of the Vanderbilt coaching staff and available players on the basketball team. Lunch will not be served, but a snack will be provided. Check-in will be Tuesday, June 13th, from 8:15-9:00 a.m. at Memorial Gym. Camp will begin each day at 9:00 a.m., with doors opening at 8:15 a.m. Camp concludes each day at 12:00 p.m. Extended supervision is not available. 


Games Camp 1   June 13-16   
9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Rising Grades 4-10

The Games Camp 1 will focus on team strategy, teamwork, and game execution. Campers will have 3 games a day at minimum, and will be coached by members of the Vanderbilt coaching staff and available players. Lunch will be provided each day. Check-in will be Tuesday, June 13th, from 8:15-9:00 a.m., at Memorial Gym. Camp will begin each day at 9:00 a.m., with doors opening at 8:15 a.m. Camp will conclude each day at 3:00 p.m. Extended hours, featuring a supervised open-gym, will be available Tuesday - Thursday until 4:30 p.m for a cost of $15 per day. No extended hours on Thursday.  


Games Camp 2   June 26-29   
9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Rising Grades 4-10

The Games Camp 2 will focus on team strategy, teamwork, and game execution. Campers will have 3 games a day at minimum, and will be coached by members of the Vanderbilt coaching staff and available players. The camp tournament will begin on Wednesday afternoon, and the championship will mark the conclusion of the camp. Lunch will be provided each day. Check-in will be Monday, June 26th, from 8:15-9:00 a.m. at Memorial Gym. Camp will begin each day at 9:00 a.m., with doors opening at 8:15 a.m. Camp will conclude each day at 3:00 p.m. Extended hours, featuring a supervised open-gym, will be available Monday - Wednesday until 4:30 p.m. for a cost of $15 per day.  No extended hours on Thursday.

USN Summer Camps

USN strives to provide families in the greater Nashville area with the most dynamic and varied summer programming options for students K-12. Their camps are open to the general public and run for 6 weeks, starting June 1 and ending July 14.

Each camp session lasts for 1 week. USN offers half-day programs and a few full day programs. Morning sessions run from 8:00 - 11:30. Afternoon sessions are held from 12:30 - 4:00. A supervised lunch runs from 11:30 - 12:30 for campers staying for both morning and afternoon sessions. A cafeteria lunch can be purchased for $32.50 per week. In addition, they provide aftercare from 4:00 - 5:00 for $50.00 a week. Half-day, week-long programs range in price from $125.00 - $250.00, and full-day programs cost between $360.00 and $400.00 per week.
