Degree Program: Ph.D., Biostatistics

I am from northeast of Atlanta, Georgia and most recently I come from Statesboro, Georgia where I received my BS with a major in Mathematics from Georgia Southern University. While there, I spent most of my free time rock climbing or eating out. Now, I spend most of my free time eating out and playing foosball or pool. Other than that, I enjoy making and consuming hot sauce, assisting my boyfriend in brewing beer, and watching TED talks on (astro)physics that I will more than likely not retain. I am currently working with Dr. Blume on topics related to the “second generation p-value”, concepts of discrimination versus calibration, and ensemble methods (bootstrap aggregation).
