I have a BS in Biology and Statistics from Elon University in North Carolina, where I grew up.  I am currently a third year Human Genetics PhD student in addition to a first year Biostatistics masters student.  I am most interested in neuropsychiatric disorders and pharmacogenetics/pharmacogenomics.  I also dabble in some wet lab work, where I focus on using zebrafish as a model organism.  When I’m not staring at a computer screen, I enjoy singing in my choir, reading, playing with my cats, traveling, and taking walks in Centennial Park.
