“This Moment in America” event to feature Frist staffer as panelist

This week, Vanderbilt’s Office for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion is hosting an event intended to gather minority perspectives on the present state of life in America. The event will feature a panel of diverse Vanderbilt students, faculty and staff, moderated by Dr. André L. Churchwell, the vice chancellor for equity, diversity and inclusion and chief diversity officer for both Vanderbilt University and Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Panelists will share their personal and professional experiences, and how those relate to the larger discussion of “This Moment in America”. This virtual event will be on Wednesday February 24th at from 1pm to 2:30pm (Central Time). Everyone in the Vanderbilt community is welcome to join! The Frist Center communications coordinator, Claire Barnett, will be one of the featured panelists. Claire is autistic and ADHD, and is an advocate both personally and professionally.
