Alumni Profile: Lauren Richman VU Art Class of 2011

Lauren Richman graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2011 with a B.A degree in Art History, French, and Studio Art. After her time at Vanderbilt, Lauren revcieved a Master’s Degree in Art History from Southern Methodist University in 2013, followed by her Ph.D. in Art History from SMU in 2019.
While on campus, Rachel worked as a Curatorial Research Assistant within the Vanderbilt University Fine Arts Gallery. After graduation and in addition to pursuing her advanced degrees, she worked as a Curatorial Research Assistant at The Amon Carter Museum of American Art (2012) in Fort Worth, Texas.
In 2019, Lauren accepted a position as the Assistant Curator of Photography with the Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Museum of Art at Indiana University, Bloomington.
