This leisurely voyage through the heart of the Aegean is the perfect introduction to all that Homer's wine-dark sea has to offer. And spring is the perfect time of year to be here, when wildflowers are abloom everywhere, when summer crowds are a concern for the distant future, and when temperatures are at their most lovely. Ancient sites and monuments - the Parthenon, Ephesus, Delos, and Vergina, all of them UNESCO World Heritage sites -share the landscape with the whitewashed homes of present-day farmers and fishermen. Great Byzantine churches and castles - including the world-famous Nea Moni and Meteora - exist in the same space as the painted townhouses of quaint island ports. This is truly a voyage not to be missed as we sail aboard the new cruise ship, Diana, noted for its sophisticated elegance.

An optional two-night post-cruise extension in Istanbul will be available.
