Patrick graduated with an ACS-certified bachelor's degree the spring 2010 from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. He worked with Dr. David Hales while preforming undergraduate research dealing with the fragmentation of ionized molecular clusters of stryene studied by tandem time-of-flight mass spectrometry.
