Originally from southern Georgia, Jamey received his B.S. in chemistry from Mercer University in 2009. While there, he worked toward expressing viral proteins in a collaborative project aimed at designing novel drugs able to unblock the apoptotic pathway that many viruses inhibit. In his spare time, Jamey enjoys playing board games and the occasional game of ultimate Frisbee.
