James Dodds is from Newnan, Georgia. He graduated from North Georgia College & State University (now UNG) and received his B.S. in Chemistry in spring 2013. In the fall of 2012 he worked with Dr. Dan Thompson investigating the potential of coupling a Thermogravimetric Analyzer (TGA) with Mass Spectrometry. He joined the McLean group in the spring of 2014 and his current research investigates the fundamental aspects of IM-MS and potential biological applications. In his free time James enjoys working on sports cars, visiting the Parthenon, and traveling.
