Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Chad graduated summa cum laude from Eastern Kentucky University with an ACS-certified B.S. in chemistry and a B.S. in forensic science in the spring of 2010. While attending Eastern, he performed chemical education research with Dr. Darrin Smith attempting to develop an undergraduate experiment visually and quantitatively demonstrating the effects of pH on liquid-liquid extractions and the partition coefficient. Outside of the lab, he enjoys playing tennis.
