Oxidation of Vitamin C

In this experiment you will determine the concentration of Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) through an oxidation-reduction titration with iodine in the form of I3-. During the reaction, Vitamin C is oxidized in the presence of I3- (I3- is an ionic complex formed from iodine, I2, and iodide I-.
