Registered Nurse 2
Applies the nursing process to plan and manage the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Furthers professional growth by engaging in 6-10 hours of learning activities annually. Upon graduation and obtaining a degree in Nursing from an NLN or CCNE accredited program and Tennessee state-approved program.
Research Assistant I
Provides, under direct supervision, support for specified research projects. Collects, assesses, and communicates data/results. Assists in general laboratory operation and inventory.
Health Systems Analyst Programmer III
Designs, develops, tests, documents and maintains dynamic web applications. Projects will involve implementation of business logic and extensive use of relational databases. Must have experience developing java applications using relational databases for various web browsers and platforms.
Health Systems Software Engineer (Java programmer)
Formulates/defines specifications for complex software in a modern object oriented environment using Agile XP software development practices. Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents applications. Applications generally deal with original program development of support of locally developed programs, but with connectivity to institutional programs. Competent to work at the highest technical level on all phases of software systems programming applications. May have responsibility for the evaluation of new and existing software products. Serves as a technical lead within a team.
Bioinformatics Systems Engineer
Assists in the analysis of systems software and utilities for research support. Assists in the development, testing, and implementation of computer-based information systems, as assigned. Assists with the training and educational support for research users.
Installs, maintains and monitors custom and vendor applications running in a unix/linux environment. Shell scripting, application installation/deployment, system backups and documentation of procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory bodies. Apache and web technology experience required; experience with deployment tools, source control, JBoss, Netbackup and databases desirable.
