Spring Event:
An Evolution of Influence: Women, Leadership, and Life

Location: Sarratt Student Center, Room 189 9:30 am-12:30 pm and 1:30-4:30 pm

Dr. Mary Lou Decosterd of the Lead Life Institute will present a keynote address and hands-on workshops in two identical sessions. The format will combine lecture, discussion, and experiential excercises.

These sessions are designed to help students make connections between their academic work and their potential future plans in the "real world". The event is open to any student on campus who pre-registers. topics will include:

• A broad overview of leadership
• the leadership contributions of women throughout history to the present day
• the current state of our world and what women leaders can offer to challenges we all face
• specific issues women confront as leaders and change agents

About Registration: The event is FREE but interested students must register for either of the two three-hour sessions. Please email shubhra.sharma@vanderbilt.edu with your name, major/degree program, and the session you will attend (morning or afternoon)
