Migraines. Description: intense pain and, often, nausea. What to do: There are several new drugs you can take before the headache reaches full blast, like the nasal spray Zomig and the arthritis drug Vioxx, which was recently approved to treat migraines.
Sinus Headaches. Description: pain around your eyes and nose. What to do: A new study from the Mayo Clinic shows that 90% of people who think they have a sinus headache actually have a migraine - so see a doctor for the appropriate diagnosis.
Tension Headaches. Description: "squeezing" around your head. What to do: Since stress brings them on, a brisk walk should help. But also check your ponytail. Really! A recent study found that 54% of women get throbbing headaches from too-tight ponytails.
