The Arts at Vanderbilt flourish in a culture that embraces innovation, collaboration and cross-cultural exchange. Our professional staff and collegiate faculty of accomplished performers and artists inspire students to pursue their passions and reach beyond their creative potential.

The creative arts are integrated into Vanderbilt's campus life where students, faculty, staff and middle Tennessee community members are exposed to an expressive interdisciplinary environment that includes performances, exhibits, lectures and workshops by faculty and internationally known guest artists.

We invite you to explore all these creative departments and join us in celebrating the Arts at Vanderbilt.

Over the years, public art work has been collected throughout the grounds of Vanderbilt. Several of the oldest works commemorate members of the Vanderbilt family. An informality has guided the placement of most of the smaller sculptures in keeping with the meandering flow of the campus open spaces and the plantings.
