Important Information...
ALL times for Virtual School videoconferences are CENTRAL TIME. Click Here to use the U.S. TIME ZONES chart to coordinate our CENTRAL TIME ZONE with your own time zone.
The first 3 sites to submit a reservation will be “interactive”. Other sites will have the opportunity to be “view only” (if the school can “branch” off an interactive connection through a bridge). We honor a “first come, first served” policy and will respond within 48 hours to let you know if your submitted reservation can be confirmed or placed on a waiting list.
Interactive Cost: $50
View only Cost: $25 (if school can “branch” off an interactive connection through a bridge)
Receiving site is responsible for own line charge.
VIDEOTAPING IS NOT ALLOWED.
Technology specifications for sites connecting to Virtual School : IP or ISDN.
Sites using ISDN must dial in to the Virtual School with a minimum speed of 128 kBps and will be responsible for paying ISDN charges.
Virtual School broadcasts over IP, Internet2 and ISDN.
Programs are available by Date and Time only, and NOT on demand.
CANCELLATION POLICY: The full program fee will be charged to sites which cancel with less than 48 hours notice of program date except for weather emergencies or catastrophic events. “No shows” will incur a $50.00 cancellation fee.
