Workshop Descriptions.... Summer 2005

The Virtual School at Vanderbilt University is once again offering the workshop, "A Teacher's Technology Toolbox."  You will learn how to take apart and put back together main computer components.  You will learn how to clean up and maintain your computer to keep it running well. We have several Dell Pentium II and III's for the first   20 teachers that sign up. There is a $60 registration fee, but you get to keep:

      • The Dell that you learn to take apart (and successfully put back together)!  This system has a minimum of 450 Mhz cpu's, network card, 128 meg RAM and CD Rom drive.  A limited number of monitors will be raffled, as well.
      • CD with computer maintenance software
      • A Teacher's Technology Toolbox manual for you to keep.
      • Lots of fun technology door prizes to give away.

We will offer this as a one day (9 to 3) workshop on the following dates:

      • Wednesday, July 20
      • Wednesday, July 27

The workshops will take place in our new offices at 2007 Terrace Place  .  More information will follow once you register.
