Vanderbilt International Office Research Grants Program

Overview

The aims of the Vanderbilt International Office (VIO) Grants Program are to enhance research and educational programs at Vanderbilt University by providing seed funding for selective research collaborations and exchanges with international partners; to promote the academic reputation of Vanderbilt outside of the U.S.; to enhance recruitment of international faculty and students; and to build sustainable institutional partnerships with peer institutions overseas.   As described subsequently, the program funds two types of awards: (A) Collaborative Exploratory Grants and (B) Project Development Grants. Please read these guidelines carefully as the eligibility requirements have been revised as of September, 2012.

A call for proposals for 2014/2015 will be announced in late October.
