Micro/Nanoscale Transport Phenomena
Professor Deyu Li (Mechanical Engineering) is doing fundamental research to study micro/nanoscale transport phenomena for novel energy converters and biomedical microdevices.
Energy and mass transport at micro/nanoscale is highly interdisciplinary and rich in new findings. Discovery and utilization of new transport phenomena at micro/nanoscale could lead to high efficiency energy harvest and controlled molecular and cellular interactions, leading to exciting technology development.
“I enjoy doing research in micro/nanoscale transport because it not only provides significant intellectual challenges to understand new findings but also leads to novel engineering devices that have direct impacts to many fields.” Deyu says.
