Reserach Area
My research involves fabrication and optical characterization of vanadium dioxide thin films. Specifically I am interested in how fabrication conditions, doping and film structure affect the optical properties on femtosecond time scales. Understanding this behavior will help develop applications in addition to providing knowledge of the underlying physics. Ph.D. Thesis Advisor
