Hight, Matthew Interdisciplinary Materials Science Research Information
Graduate Student, Interdisciplinary Materials Science
---------------------------------------- Research Area My work involves the development of novel molecular imaging probes for the detection of cell death in vivo. A variety of scaffolds are used to develop libraries of small molecule, peptide, and protein based imaging agents. Prospective agents are screened using high-throughput biological assays. Finally, prospective probes are imaged in small animal xenografts of colorectal cancer using nuclear imaging techniques such as positron emission tomography (PET).
