Research Information

Yaqiong's group is interested in carbon-based materials such as carbon nanotubes and graphene with a particular focus on the development of an electro-optical system combining fluorescence spectroscopy, scanning photocurrent microscopy, and optical trapping techniques to study the optoelectronic properties of nanostructures and investigate the electrical and optical processes in both biological and renewable energy conversion systems at the molecular scale. She research also includes synthesizing graphene and vertical aligned carbon nanotubes, making films, and exploring their optical and electrical applications in solar cells and fuel cells.
