Vanderbilt Dining serves the Vanderbilt community with a variety of restaurants and markets uniquely tailored to the needs of our customers. You'll find everything from baked goods and smoothies to Mexican and Asian foods; made-to-order espresso drinks, gyros and veggie burgers; bountiful salad bars loaded with seasonal fruits and vegetables; Mediterranean tapas and much more! Rand Hall is conveniently located in central campus near many residence halls.

Housing: Vanderbilt is a residential campus community. A student's first year at Vanderbilt will be more than a new academic experience; it will also be the chance to experience life at The Commons. This first-year only community consists of 10 newly constructed and recently renovated residence halls, or "houses," surrounding a main dining and meeting hall. Learn more about The Commons.

Vanderbilt University provides more than room and board. The Office of Housing and Residential Education has two goals: to provide you with a clean, safe place to live and to contribute to your growth and development as a person through educational programs outside the classroom.
