Felix Wang

“In addition to teaching and performing, my passion is finding ways to collaborate with the composition department, or the music history department, or the theory department. Here at Blair, it’s very easy to have really meaningful relationships with professors outside of just the person you came to study with.”

As the winner of several competitions, including the National Society of Arts and Letters Cello Competition, Dr. Wang’s performances have been described by critics as “beautifully wrought,” “dazzling,” and “soulful.” But for the students at Blair and at festivals from Banff to Killington and Interlochen, his passion for teaching continues to draw similar praise.
