The Vanderbilt Institute of Chemical Biology (VICB) Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary!

The VICB celebrated its 10th anniversary on March 12th with a symposium that included talks by prominent investigators in the field of chemical biology, poster sessions, and more. Guest lecturers were:

Cynthia Burrows, Distinguished Professor of Organic and Biological Chemistry, University of Utah
Michael Marletta, President & CEO, The Scripps Research Institute
Paul Wender, Bergstrom Professor of Chemistry, Stanford University

The VICB is a trans-institutional initiative between the College of Arts and Science and the School of Medicine. The Institute's mission is to provide research and training in the application of chemical approaches to the solution of important biomedical problems.
