The first VICB - St. Jude retreat was held on March 22 and 23, 2007 in Florence Alabama at the Marriott Shoals Resort. |

Sixty seven guests including faculty, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and staff were in attendance.

The retreat was a successful beginning to collaborative efforts between the two institutions. Meeting planners Stacey Davis (left, St. Jude's) and Anne Lara (right, Vanderbilt) coordinated the event. Plans for another meeting next year already are being discussed! |
The opening lecture was given by Dr. Larry Walker from the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy.
Talks were given by six faculty members from each institution. |
