		~ The Vanderbilt Emergency Medical Service (VEMS) is an organization under development throughout the 2007/2008 academic year that will ultimately provide another tier of prehospital emergency medical care to the Vanderbilt community. The operational roles of VEMS may include assisting the Davidson County Rescue Squad in providing first aid at campus sporting events as well as first response to on-campus medical emergencies alongside the Vanderbilt Police Department and Nashville Fire Department. While VEMS is primarily a student organization, it is seeking any member of the Vanderbilt community interested in working as a trained first responder to provide medical care on the Vanderbilt campus. interested in joining vems? ~ latest news
