Whitney Weeks, Executive DirectorWhitney joined the Vanderbilt Center for Nashville Studies as its director in Spring 2010. With a nine year history in higher education and community engagement, she brings to the center an understanding of Vanderbilt's commitment to and interest in making significant, meaningful contributions to Nashville. She oversees the center's daily operations as well as its strategic direction and ensures the center's activities support and help develop the university's mission of excellence in educating its undergraduate and graduate students and supporting research in a variety of forms. She earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Vanderbilt University and Smith College, respectively. Robbye Good, Graduate Fellow, Summer 2012Robbye joined the Vanderbilt Center for Nashville Studies as a graduate fellow in Summer 2012. She is currently earning a Masters of Education at Peabody College, focusing on community support of education both inside and outside of the classroom. Before coming to Vanderbilt, Robbye managed the development of the global IB alumni network for the International Baccalaureate Organization. She passionately believes in the value of community engagement and collaborative networks, and enjoys supporting the center and the Alliance for Community Engagement in their missions.
