Whitney Weeks, Executive Director

Whitney Weeks is the executive director of the Vanderbilt Center for Nashville Studies. With a twelve year history in higher education and community engagement, she brings to the center an understanding of Vanderbilt's commitment to and interest in making significant, meaningful contributions to Nashville. She oversees the center's daily operations as well as its strategic direction, and she ensures the center's activities support and help develop the university's mission of excellence in teaching, research and service. Involved with several area non-profits both personally and professionally, she and her family live in West Nashville. She earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Vanderbilt University and Smith College, respectively.
