EMPLOYMENT AND APPOINTMENTS

September 2006- Present	RESEARCH ASSOCIATE, Vanderbilt University Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering Creating online GIS environmental management tools for the government of Ascension Island. Assisting in the preparation of a literary manuscript on risk management case studies. Exploring and developing alternative methods of disseminating transportation information to the public.
August 2002- August 2006	RESEARCH ASSISTANT, Vanderbilt University Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering Conducted land suitability analysis for alternative agriculture in St. Kitts and Nevis. Created online GIS environmental management tools for the governments of Anguilla and St. Helena. Analyzed national and international transportation network systems using GIS. Mapped regional transportation incident management systems with GIS.
August 2000- August 2002	TEACHING/RESEARCH ASSISTANT, Vanderbilt University Geology Department, Nashville, TN Taught laboratories and grading for environmental and historical geology and oceanography. Prepared and running high pressure, high temperature geologic experiments.
February 2000- July 2000	TECHNICIAN, North Carolina Department of Transportation, Raleigh, NC Drilled, described, and mapped subsurface samples. Installed monitoring wells and water gauges.
February 1999- February 2000	TECHNICIAN, North Carolina Geological Survey, Raleigh, NC Collected, prepared, and cataloged subsurface samples Prepared and digitized geologic maps from side scan sonar data.
