Student Organizations

 
This area of the website is intended to provide student organizations with information they need to effectively run their groups.  The main role the VBA plays in student organization activities is to appropriate funds each year.  At the beginning of fall semester, each student organization creates a budget for their events and submits it to the VBA.  Using these budgets as guides, the VBA allocates more than $30,000 amongst these organizations.  Student organizations that do not get the amounts they requested are free to appeal to the VBA.  Furthermore, throughout the year organizations are free to request funds for unforeseen events or circumstances via the VBA's Supplemental Funding process.
