Production Services

Video editing
TSS has several systems available for editing with Final Cut Pro. If you are unfamiliar with editing we can give you a basic instruction for no charge during your scheduled edit time. If you need additional technical assistance technicians are usually available to assist for an additional $ 20.00 per hour. There is no charge for projects related to Arts and Science Classes. The charge for projects not related to A&S classes is $10.00 per hour. The equipment is only available for Vanderbilt faculty, staff and students.

Scanning
TSS can scan either 35mm slides, negatives or flat art (up to 8 1/2 x 11). All scanning is done by TSS full time staff. You must provide some form of media to store your scanned work, or purchase a blank CD from TSS. Depending on the file size, we might be able to e-mail it to you. This service is subject to copyright restrictions. There is no charge for scanning projects related to A&S courses.  The charge for projects not related to A&S classes is $ 20.00 per hour.
Videoconferencing
We are able to provide connections with multiple sites to allow teachers and lectures to be brought into classrooms from around the world. We are able to share people as well as content: VHS, DVD, PowerPoint, etc. We require 1-2 weeks notice prior to the event and contact information for the far site. This service is available only for conferencing related to the formal academic program of the College of Arts and Science.

Technicians
Can be scheduled when available for $20.00 per hour.
